Born in 1948 in Marradi, a town in the upper Mugello. At the age of 4 I moved to Lausanne where I lived for 25 years. In the impossibility of being able to follow an artistic path, I attended masters studies in the closest Italian city (Domodossola). After graduating as an elementary teacher, I worked at the Italian Consulate in Italian language and culture courses aimed at the children of emigrants in Switzerland for 6 years. At the same time I took part in the masters degree competition in 1975. After successfully passing the competition, I returned to Italy in my native town of Marradi (Florence) and taught for 30 years in primary school where I was able to live, transmit and express some aspects of my creativity. Retired, at the age of 73, having found my childhood drawings abandoned to follow life, I finally picked up my brushes again... and here I am!
